Ir. Mohd Razif Abd Halim | Managing Director | TNBX Sdn. Bhd

Razif is the Managing Director of TNBX Sdn. Bhd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Tenaga Nasional Berhad, Malaysia utility company. He holds Bachelors’ Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Masters’ Degree in Business Administration from Tenaga Nasional University. Razif is a registered professional engineer with Board of Engineers Malaysia and a registered member of Institute of Engineers Malaysia. He has served Tenaga Nasional for 21 years in various divisions and has vast experience in power plant projects, power and water desalination plant operation and maintenance, green field project biddings, O&M contract biddings and business developments in Malaysia, South East Asia, South Asia, Central Asia and GCC countries. Currently focusing on growing green energy and platforms under TNBX with Malaysian renewable energy certificate (mREC) as the main offer.

Allyson Browne | Climate Campaign Director, Ports | Pacific Environment

Allyson Browne is Pacific Environment’s Climate Campaign Manager, leading their Ports for People campaign to end port and ship pollution. Allyson has contributed to renewable energy and climate policy for more than 10 years, including as Director of Regulatory Affairs for SRECTrade, where she collaborated with industry and grassroots organizations on renewable energy policies; as Chief of Staff to Jared Blumenfeld for California Governor Newsom’s 2018 gubernatorial campaign, Energy & Environment team; and as a consultant on energy in cities, cannabis, and cryptocurrency. Allyson holds a JD from GGU School of Law and a BS, Business Administration from USC Marshall. 

Noah Bucon | Senior Product Development Manager | 3Degrees

Noah Bucon is a Senior Product Development Manager at 3Degrees. He focuses on identifying opportunities for innovation in global renewable energy and carbon markets, and he leads the design, development, and implementation of new products and services to address these needs. Noah has supported 3Degrees’ participation in dozens of renewable energy markets across six continents. Prior to 3Degrees, his experience includes working in renewable energy standard setting, consumer protection, and climate policy analysis. He holds a BA in Environmental Studies from the University of Southern California and an MSc in Environmental Policy from the London School of Economics.

Trang Bui | APAC Corporate Decarbonisation Lead | Apala Group

Trang Bui is currently leading APAC consultation services at Apala Group for corporate decarbonisation. Her expertise lies in renewable energy development, procurement advisory, business strategy. She previously led a pioneering micro-grid development in one of the biggest industrial clusters in Vietnam to accelerate sustainability amongst the industrial sector’s power consumption. Her career exposure ranges extensively in various industries including real estate, port management, oil & gas. Trang holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Surrey (UK). 

Jessica Cheam | Founder and Managing Director | Eco-Business

Jessica is the Founder and Managing Director of Eco-Business, Asia Pacific's leading independent media and business intelligence organisation dedicated to sustainable development. She is recognised as a sustainability pioneer with two decades of experience in media, sustainable development and ESG issues globally.

She is a regular columnist for national newspapers and is on the Board of Directors for Singapore-listed ComfortDelGro, one of the world's largest land transport companies, as an independent non-executive director. She chairs the Group’s Board Sustainability Committee, and is a member of the Audit & Risk; and Digitalisation Committees.

She holds the CFA Institute Certificate in ESG Investing and the INSEAD Certificate of Corporate Governance. She is a member of the Singapore Institute of Directors (SID), and serves as its ESG committee member.

Judy Chen | Manager, Technical Projects | Center for Resource Solutions (CRS)

Judy Chen is a Technical Projects Manager at the Center for Resource Solutions, where she supports the Expert Assistant work and projects at CRS, including 24/7 hourly accounting and Scope 2 emission accounting. She received her Bachelor’s degree from the Baylor University and has worked in Taiwan to develop the renewable energy certification system and other international renewable energy market development.

Orrin Cook | Managing Director | Apala Group

As Managing Director of Apala Group, Orrin Cook is focused on unlocking private sector demand to aid in the development of clean energy markets in Asia and Latin America. An expert in corporate climate and renewable energy solutions, Orrin has established new partnerships, programs and innovation projects to advance clean energy and supply chain decarbonization in these regions. Previously, Orrin led international market development engagements at CRS, supporting REC and tracking system infrastructure in Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong, China and other ASEAN and Latin American markets. Orrin holds a BSc from UC Berkeley and MA from University of Leeds (UK). 

Kevin John Y. dela Cuesta | Market Development Manager | PEMC 

Kevin is the Market Development Manager of the Philippine Electricity Market Corporation (PEMC), a non-stock, non-profit corporation that governs the Philippines’ Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (WESM) and Renewable Energy Market (REM). He holds Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of the Philippines, Los Baños. Kevin is a Registered Electrical Engineer and has experience in project management and conduct of market studies and simulations for the WESM and the REM. Kevin and his Team administers and operates the Philippine REM as the current Renewable Energy Registrar (RER). 

Pasha Feinberg | Senior Associate, Transaction Acceleration Group (Global) | Clean Energy Buyers Association (CEBA)

Pasha Feinberg is a Senior Associate on CEBA’s Global team, based in Washington, D.C., USA. Pasha works with energy customers, governments, and market experts to unlock challenging markets and activate clean energy customers. Pasha is also an expert on the environmental impacts and considerations of land-based and offshore renewable energy development.

Previously, Pasha worked at environmental non-profits on renewable energy, REDD+, and blue carbon, forming and leveraging multi-stakeholder groups to better inform development and conservation. Prior to working in the policy/NGO space, Pasha conducted ecology research in Mexico, Australia, Tanzania, Kenya, and the United States to better understand how healthy ecosystems support human health.

Nick Fedson | Technical Manager, Renewable Energy  | CDP/RE100 

Nick works in CDP’s renewable energy team and is currently focused on CDP’s work on the RE100 initiative. He produces RE100 annual disclosure reports, leads the technical support the initiative provides and is secretary to the RE100 Technical Advisory Group. 

James Huang | President | Kingwhale Corporation 

James Huang graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. After graduation, he worked for Transamerica as a professional auditor and accumulated extensive management experience. He then returned to Taiwan and established Kingwhale, where he was head of sales before becoming President.

President Huang’s strategic leadership steered Kingwhale Corporation towards smart manufacturing. Committed to sustainability, he develops and promotes lower-impact and energy-saving textile products and operations. He also led Kingwhale to join RE100 and is committed to achieving 100% renewable energy by 2040. President Huang continues to invest in carbon neutrality and implements sustainable strategies with the goal of influencing the textile manufacturing industry to reduce its environmental impact. 

Ir. Nirinder Singh Johl | Founder and CEO | Asia Carbonx Change

Ir. Nirinder Singh Johl, is a professional electrical engineer, who has served Malaysia’s national utility company, Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) for more than 36 years. 

Nirinder also holds a MBA degree from the University of Bath that allowed him to fast-track and strategically master expertise in other equally significant areas of the utility business. Under Nirinder’s leadership, TNBX pioneered innovative breakthroughs including solar energy contracting with utility billing (SARE), and I-REC branded Renewable Energy Certificates for Malaysia (mREC), both in bundled and unbundled RECs. 

Although Nirinder retired from TNBX this June, 2022, he is presently the CEO of Asia Carbonx Change Plt , an organization involved in the consultancy and management of Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs).

Jen Wee Kang | Founder and CEO | REDEX

Jen Wee is an industry veteran in the renewable sector, with a demonstrated history of working in the environmental services industry and 15 years of deep understanding of the entire Solar value chain, assuming Sales/Business development roles from upstream equipment makers (Applied Materials) to downstream project development and electricity retailing (REC Solar).

He founded REDEX (formally T-RECs.ai) in 2018, after seeing the gap between corporate RE buyers and RE generators, particularly in Asia. A long-term RE corporate power purchase agreement is not readily available and Renewable Energy Certificates (or RECs) are the only feasible and most efficient and impactful option to achieve their Scope 2 neutral goal.

Jen Wee is building the necessary IT infrastructure for an ESG-focused world. His flagship product, REHash, is on its way to becoming Asia’s largest RECs marketplace, providing price transparency for RECs across 9 countries.

Peggy Kellen | Director, Policy | Center for Resource Solutions (CRS)

Peggy Kellen directs the development and implementation of CRS’s sustainable energy policy and offers guidance on GHG accounting best practices. She brings over 10 years of experience designing renewable energy and GHG accounting policies and contributing to stakeholder engagement efforts for the electric power, energy efficiency, water, transportation and oil and gas sectors. Peggy is recognized as a leader in GHG accounting and has advised on the GHG reporting and verification requirements for the Greenhouse Gas Protocol, the American National Standards Institute, the States of California and Massachusetts, the Western Climate Initiative, US EPA, and the Government of Thailand.

Deepak Khetarpal | Associate Principal, Cleantech Asia Lead | Schneider Electric

Deepak is currently working as Asia Cleantech Leader for Schneider Electric and has 15 years of experience in the renewable energy/cleantech industry in the region. He helps corporate clients on their decarbonization or net-zero journeys with a special focus on scope 2 and 3 emissions through PPAs and other alternatives. He has earlier worked as COO of a solar project developer and with consulting organizations - PwC and Deloitte. Deepak is a qualified engineer with post-graduation in MBA (Energy Management) and Public Policy and Management. He is the lead author of the solar chapter of the World Energy Resources publication 2016.

Dr. Seungwan Kim | CEO | NEXT Group

Dr. Seungwan Kim is an associate professor of the Department of Electrical Engineering at Chungnam National University. He is also the Chief Executive Officer of NEXT Group, a non-profit policy think tank based in Seoul, Korea. Dr. Kim is known for his expertise in electricity system designs for zero-carbon energy transitions in Korea. He actively participates in Korea’s energy transition policy-making processes, serving as a member of the 2050 Presidential Carbon Neutrality Commission (2020-present), the Management Board of Korea Energy Agency (2020-2022), the Hydrogen Economy Council under the Prime Minister's Office (2020-2022), Expert Committee of the National Council on Climate and Air Quality (2019-2021). He holds a B.S. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Seoul National University.

Miho Kurosaki | Fellow | Institute for Global Environmental Strategies and Japan Climate Leaders’ Partnership

Miho has been working in ESG and climate change since 2007 and advised policy makers including ministers, investors, companies on their ESG and climate change strategies based on analysis and data. She conducted research and analysis on Japan's energy market, policy and sustainable finance at BloombergNEF after working to develop Bloomberg's ESG product since 2009. Miho has delivered many public speeches including government committees and moderated international panel discussions such as in the G20. She is a fellow at International Global Environmental Studies (IGES) and Japan Climate Leaders' Partnership (JCLP), an independent advisor to RE100 and a director at Kamakura Sustainability Institute.


Miho holds an MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London and a BA in Economics from Keio University in Tokyo.

James Larmouth | Head of Carbon Trading | Vitol Asia

James is the Head of Carbon Trading for Vitol Asia, covering the Asia Pacific region. Vitol are the world’s largest independent Energy Trader, active in global Energy markets for over 55 years - a business built on long-term partnerships, a focus on delivering solutions and prudent financial management.

James has more than 10 years’ experience in international carbon markets. Prior to Vitol, James ran Shell’s South East Asian and Oceanian Environmental Products Trading Business. He has extensive experience of carbon markets in Europe and Asia Pacific, including the structuring of innovative products to meet customers’ Voluntary and Regulated Carbon requirements.

Chee Yong Lee | Chief Operating Officer | REDEX

Chee Yong is the Chief Operating Officer of Renewable Energy Digital Exchange (REDEX), a company focused on promoting the reduction of Scope 2 emissions through delivering sustainable digital energy solutions to customers. He looks after the product management of digital solutions and operations of REDEX Renewable Energy Certificate (REC) exchange. 

Chee Yong holds over 20 years of experience in digital solution delivery spanning across industries in renewable energy, banking, aviation, consumer electronics and defence. He earned his bachelor and master engineering degrees from Cornell University and MBA from National University of Singapore. 

Colin Li | EHS and Sustainability Director | AT&S (China) Co., Ltd

Colin Li has been working at AT&S (China) Co., Ltd. with over 20 years of EHS management experience. He holds a bachelor degree of Chemistry and MBA from Fudan University. Colin has held various positions throughout his career, including R&D Engineer, Environment Protection Engineer, EHS Manager, and his current role as EHS and Sustainability Director. He has been instrumental in implementing sustainable practices and emission reduction at AT&S (China) Co., Ltd. His goal is to continue improving ESG practices in the industry and help the company to win a sustainable future. 

Kelvin Li | Head of Corporate Energy Solutions | CLP Holdings

Kelvin Li serves as Head of Corporate Energy Solutions at CLP Holdings to lead the business of green power solutions covering Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) and Green Energy Certificates (GEC) for companies in China, supporting them to decarbonize their operations and achieve net zero goals. 

He holds over 20 years of experience in power utility, energy consultancies, and energy corporations. Before CLP Holdings, he had served as Director of Strategy and Business Development at Schneider Electric, formulating corporate strategies to drive business growth by leveraging innovative technologies for the energy industry.

Kelvin holds three master’s degrees – MPA from Harvard University, MBA from London Business School, and MSc from The University of Hong Kong. He was selected to attend The Prince of Wales's Business & Sustainability Programme at Cambridge University. He also got the designation as an Energy Risk Professional (ERP) in 2019. 

Wei-In Lin | Managing Consultant, Power & Renewable | Wood Mackenzie 

Wei-In is the Managing Consultant in Wood Mackenzie’s Power & Renewable team based in Singapore. Wei-In has over 8 years of experience helping corporate clients achieve their renewable energy targets across APAC. She has all-around experience in solar project development, investment, and consulting. Recently, she is assisting an MNC client to develop its RE100 strategy by utilizing a combination of renewable energy solutions throughout APAC. 

She holds a MSc in Finance and International Business from Aarhus University. 

Jennifer Martin | Executive Director | Center for Resource Solutions (CRS)

Jennifer Martin is the Executive Director of the Center for Resource Solutions, where she brings over two decades of NGO and private-sector experience in renewable energy policy and markets, energy efficiency, distributed generation, electricity markets and technology development, and electricity sector and climate change policy and regulation.  She is a frequent speaker and expert advisor on renewable energy policy, voluntary and mandatory green power markets, renewable energy certificate systems, and carbon and renewable policy interactions.  She serves on several governance and advisory boards, including the State-Federal RPS Collaborative, Re-Volv, Green-e, the Western Renewable Energy Generation Information System, and the Low Impact Hydro Institute. She completed her undergraduate degree at Pomona College and M.P.P. at Duke University.

Edward V. Neri | Supervising Science Research Specialist, Renewable Energy Management Bureau  | Department of Energy, Philippines 

Edward has over a decade of experience in the Renewable Energy Management Bureau of the Philippines’ Department of Energy (DOE), which has the mandate to establish the Renewable Energy Market in the country, among others. He works with the Team that supervises the operation of the Renewable Energy Registrar and formulates policies to implement the Renewable Energy (RE) Law.  He has also been spearheading RE support projects from various international development partners providing technical assistance and funding support to the DOE. 

Edward earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from STI College and Master’s in Public Administration from Western Mindanao State University. 

Elvin Hayes E. Nidea | President | Philippine Electricity Market Corporation (PEMC)

Mr. Nidea is the current President of the Philippine Electricity Market Corporation (PEMC). A lawyer by profession, Mr. Nidea is a Managing Partner at the Nidea Law Office. He also served as a Senior Associate in the Tax Division at SGV & Co. and became a Member of the Board of Trustees of the Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-IBIG Fund). He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Management from the Ateneo De Manila University in 1994. He then earned his Juris Doctor Degree at the Ateneo de Manila College of Law in 1999 and was admitted to the bar in 2000.

Dory Ruan | Project Manager | Apala Taiwan 

Dory earned her MBA from Western Michigan University. She is the Project Manager, the key member in Apala Taiwan. She supports the consulting service for renewable energy procurement and decarbonization in Taiwan, supports local corporations to engage global resources and assists them to transform their business and achieve net-zero. She also serves as the coordinator in the clean energy investment project in Taiwan and Vietnam to drive market development. 

Seung Youn Seo | Researcher | Korea Sustainability Investing Forum (KoSIF) 

Seung Youn is a Researcher at Korea Sustainability Investing Forum with experience in sustainability and climate change. Her current focus includes accelerating transitions to clean energy and creating a policy environment encouraging corporate renewable energy procurement through Corporate Renewable Energy Initiative (CoREi), partnerships with CDP and RE100, along with engagement with various public and private stakeholders.

Yuhuan Shen | Business Development Lead | South Pole

Yuhuan Shen is a Business Development Lead at South Pole. She has 15+ years of experience in clean energy, climate change and sustainability. Yuhuan has been responsible for advising multinational and Chinese corporate clients on their climate strategies and solutions including renewable energy procurement. She was also Energy and Low Carbon Lead of the UK government’s Prosperity Fund China Energy and Low Carbon Economy Programme and is a member of the Roster of Experts for both WB and ADB.

She holds a Master’s degree from the Renmin University of China and a bachelor's degree from Tongji University.

Surbhi Singhvi | Manager, Energy Transformation |World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) 

Surbhi Singhvi is a manager at the Energy Transformation team at WBCSD and works with some of the leading companies in the sustainability space across the globe towards decarbonizing low and medium temperature heat and scaling up renewable power procurement. Prior to WBCSD, she has worked with businesses and policymakers through various consulting and research organizations with a focus on renewable energy. She is an economist by education and an ambassador of electrification.

Krishnan Srinivasan | Global Technical Development Manager | Mt. Stonegate Green Asset Management

Krishnan is a Global Technical Development Manager at Mt. Stonegate Green Asset Management, Taiwan. He oversees policy priorities for global corporate energy strategies, including EACs and Carbon markets. He is responsible for implementing and managing carbon offsetting projects and helps corporate clients to make informed decisions addressing climate change challenges.

Albert Sutanto | Manager SE Asia Markets and Global EACs Sourcing | Mt. Stonegate Green Asset Management

Experienced Business Development Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the renewables and environment industry. Skilled in Sustainability, Energy Attributes, Climate Change, and Carbon Offsets. Strong business development professional with a Bachelor of Science - BSc focused in Sustainability Studies.

Rachael Terada | Director, Technical Projects | Center for Resource Solutions (CRS)

Rachael manages technical projects and initiatives for CRS and brings over 15 years of experience working in renewable energy markets. She leads the Green-e® Renewable Fuels certification program for biomethane. Rachael also leads technical paper development, international expert assistance to government agencies on renewable energy policy design, and support for renewable energy certificate (REC) tracking system initiatives. Rachael oversees the annual Renewable Energy Markets conferences in the U.S. and Asia and manages technical projects for the Green-e® certification programs. She received her M.S. and B.S. degrees in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.

Nadine Samantha “Sam” Valderrama | Program Manager | Allotrope Southeast Asia

Samantha (“Sam”) has extensive experience in sustainability and stakeholder engagement across government and non-government sectors. Before joining Allotrope, she worked with the Philippine Rural Electrical Cooperatives Association (PHILRECA), the national organization of local utilities across the Philippines, where she led training and engagement with senior officials representing all 121 electric cooperatives. She also worked with the Philippines Department of Environment and Natural Resources’ Environmental Management Bureau and with the Environment Department of one of the largest cities in Metro Manila. Now based in Singapore, Sam supports the implementation of the Local Utility Project Aggregator (LUPA) and plays a key role advancing a range of Allotrope clean energy advisory activities across Southeast Asia.

Roble Poe Velasco-Rosenheim | Director, Partnerships and APAC Markets | I-REC Standard Foundation 

Roble has a decade of experience supporting clean energy development in Asia and the Pacific. He is the Director of Partnerships and APAC Markets for the I-REC Standard Foundation, and the founder of SuSca Group and LockTwoThree.  

Through these roles, Roble has enabled hundreds of entities to source renewable electricity in line with the RE100, Science Based Targets initiative, and other major reporting frameworks. Currently, he is focused on helping governments and utilities to engage in EAC markets through the globally recognized I-REC Standard, and on making Scope 2 and 3 emissions reporting more transparent.

Madura Watanagase | Manager for Competitive Procurement | USAID Southeast Asia’s Smart Power Program (SPP) 

Madura Watanagase is the Manager for Competitive Procurement at USAID Southeast Asia’s Smart Power Program (SPP). Her main role at SPP is to establish a Center for Competitive Procurement, which will serve as a one-stop-shop for resources and assistance on procuring energy and energy services. She is also part of the team that oversees the Corporate Clean Energy Alliance, a USAID initiative that brings together like-minded corporations to share ideas, strategize, and advocate for policy that expands opportunities for clean energy investment and procurement. Prior to SPP, Madura worked on its predecessor program, USAID Clean Power Asia, which supported the government of Laos to design the country’s first solar pilot auction. As an RE policy specialist, she put together the evaluation criteria for the solar pilot auction. Before entering the energy field, Madura worked as an economic research assistant at the Federal Reserve Board. Madura holds a B.A. Hons in Economics from Williams College and an M.A. in International Development from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. 

Nicole Wu | Senior Manager, Global Energy & Sustainability Management | Jabil

Nicole Wu is the Senior Manager of Global Energy & Sustainability Management at Jabil (Fortune 200 manufacturing company). Nicole has over 10+ years of experience in environmental management, sustainability development, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG). 

She currently manages all energy-related initiatives for 15+ facilities in over 5 countries worldwide – from RFPs to project management, budget forecasts, Energy KPIs and CSR reporting. 

Additionally, she engages and trains executive leadership, managers and staff on energy and sustainability best practices for today’s market and specializes in system solutions including Energy Management Database, Building Automation / Management System selection. 

Zoe Yang  | Project Overseer | National Renewable Energy Certification Center (Taiwan)

Zoe is a Project Overseer at the National Renewable Energy Certification Center in Taiwan. She previously has coordinated the 2022 APEC International Webinar, and participated in International Renewable Energy Credentials Consultative Council as well as REM™ Asia 2022.
