The Nomination Period for the 2011 Green Power Leadership Awards opens May 24, 2011. The deadline is June 21, 2011.

Sponsored by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), and the Center for Resource Solutions (CRS), the Green Power Leadership Awards are competitive awards that recognize outstanding commitments and achievements in the green power marketplace in the following three award categories:

Market Development
The Center for Resource Solutions recognizes individuals, companies, or other renewable energy industry leaders that have helped build the market for green power. Purchasers
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency recognizes leading Green Power Partner organizations that have helped further the green power market through their green power purchase or use of on-site renewable energy applications, overall green power strategy, and impact on the green power market.
